What the app does
KAKABAKA is a desktop AI assistant for Android phone operations and local workspace tasks. You choose and configure the model service. The desktop app is free; model providers and connected services may charge separately. Features and service availability depend on your device, provider, account, and region.
Sharing with AI services
After you authorize sharing, your selected main model receives your messages, relevant conversation history, task attachments and media, and phone screenshots or interface text needed for the task. If enabled, the decision model receives the task goal and relevant interface text and control candidates. A local endpoint can still forward requests to a cloud model, including Ollama cloud models. Check your model service settings and its privacy policy.
Your choices
In the Microsoft Store edition, the app asks before sending task data to a configured model. Changing the model destination or model requires fresh authorization. You can revoke authorization in Settings > Data controls; this stops active AI tasks and blocks later requests until you authorize sharing again. Data already received by a provider is subject to that provider’s retention and deletion policy. Phone access, channel access, local file access and model sharing are separate permissions.
Local storage and credentials
Conversation history, settings, schedules, diagnostic logs, attachments, screenshots and the workspace are stored on your computer. Saved secrets use the operating system’s credential protection. Model API keys are sent to the configured model endpoint for authentication; they are not included in the assistant’s task instructions. Phone unlock secrets are used locally for the phone unlock feature. Protect your computer, backups and exported files.
Connected services
Connecting a chat channel sends authentication and message data to that service. After you allow a conversation, its messages can start tasks and replies can return through that channel. Local file access is separately controlled. Remote phone sharing uses your configured signaling service; phone media travels between the connected peers. The phone network feature routes phone traffic through this computer when enabled. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. The Microsoft Store first release does not include WhatsApp access.
Retention and deletion
Use the app’s data settings to clear conversation history, screenshots or logs, or open the local data folder to manage your files. Stop tasks and disconnect channels before removing data. Back up anything you need before uninstalling or resetting the Store app. Exported files and backups must be deleted separately. Support and AI content reports
The report form opens an email draft containing only the text you enter and the app version. The app does not automatically attach conversations, screenshots, diagnostic archives or API keys. Review the draft and send it yourself. We use the information you submit to investigate and respond; share only what is needed. AI output can be inaccurate or inappropriate: review it before sending messages, operating devices, or making decisions.
International processing and changes
Your chosen model, channel, or remote access service may process data in another country. Review those services before enabling them. This policy describes the app version distributed with it. Changes affecting AI sharing require renewed authorization in the Store edition.

This is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We do not add analytics, advertising trackers, account sign-in, or submission forms. The hosting provider processes network request information to deliver and protect the site under its own privacy policy. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.
